Darecat - Product Showcase Website Design & Development
Darecat web design and development project featuring a clean product catalogue, detailed pages, and filtering for a smooth e-commerce-style browsing experience.
Overview
The Darecat web design and development project was built for a client who wanted an e-commerce-style browsing experience without the complexity of a full online store. My goal was to create a clean, fast, and product-centric website where visitors can explore items, view details, and use filters all within a simple catalogue-style interface.
Unlike typical online shops, Darecat focuses on clear presentation, trust, and easy navigation rather than transactions. It feels familiar like an online store, but functions as a curated product catalogue.
The Challenge
The client don’t want a full e-commerce system. Instead, they needed a hybrid experience that allowed users to:
Browse products
View detailed product pages
Read descriptions
Understand product features
Build trust through clean presentation
The main challenge was to design something that feels familiar to users (like browsing any online store) while keeping the interaction model simple and friction-free.
My Role
I handled the complete design and end-to-end development including:
Information architecture
UX flow and product listing layout
UI design for product cards and product pages
Dynamic filtering system
SEO setup and content structure
Website build and deployment
Performance optimization
Everything was crafted to give the product catalogue maximum visibility.

Commonly asked questions and answers Phone:+1 (555) 000-0000 Email:hi@arunarudra.com What services do you offer? I design and build digital experiences end-to-end.My core services include UI/UX design, product design, website design, branding, and complete development support when required. Whether it’s a mobile app, web platform, or a full product from scratch, I handle everything from research to final execution. How do you approach a new project? I start with understanding the problem not jumping to screens. Research, user flows, and structure come first. Once the foundation is solid, I move into UI design, prototyping, and handoff. If development is included, I ensure the final build matches the design exactly. What tools do you use for your design work? I primarily work in Figma for UI/UX and prototypes, and Illustrator for branding and visual assets. Depending on the project, I also use tools like Photoshop, After Effects, or development platforms through my team. Can you handle both design and development? Yes. If a project requires it, I collaborate with my development team to deliver a complete solution design + development. This ensures the final output stays consistent with the design vision and avoids the usual designer–developer mismatch. How long does a typical project take? It depends on the complexity.A simple website takes around 2–3 weeks.A full product (app + website + dashboard) can take 6–10 weeks. Before starting, I always give a clear timeline based on scope so there are no surprises.
