Soccer Bolt App UI UX Design

Soccer Bolt app UI UX design project for organizing pickup soccer games with scheduling, calendar booking, and public posting to fill empty spots fast.

Overview

This Soccer Bolt app UI UX design project was created for a US-based client who wanted an easier way for players and organizers to plan, schedule, and fill pickup soccer games. Instead of relying on Facebook groups or local soccer pages, Soccer Bolt helps organizers list games, manage spots, and connect with players instantly.

Project Overview

The main challenge was simple: pickup soccer games are messy to organize. Players join late, spots remain unfilled, and organizers struggle to communicate across fragmented platforms.

Soccer Bolt solves this by giving organizers a smooth dashboard, calendar scheduling, and a smart feature that instantly posts the game to partner apps when more players are needed.

My job was to design a friendly, sports-focused, high-energy interface that works for both casual weekend players and serious weekly groups.

Design Goals

  • Make scheduling a pickup game effortless

  • Create a clean dashboard for managing upcoming matches

  • Add a calendar with quick actions and reminders

  • Simplify booking a paid facility

  • Provide a one-tap option to publish games publicly

  • Give players an easy joining flow

  • Keep the UI energetic, bold, and sports-driven

Key Features

1. Onboarding for Players & Organizers

A friendly onboarding experience introduces the app’s features and sets user roles.

2. Smart Dashboard

The dashboard shows:

  • Upcoming games

  • Who joined

  • Spots left

  • Facility details

  • Quick actions for editing or sharing

3. Calendar Scheduling

Users can:

  • Create games

  • Select time slots

  • Choose field locations

  • Mark recurring games

  • Send reminders

4. Book a Game

Organizers can book paid turf or indoor facilities directly inside the app.The flow includes:

  • Field selector

  • Time availability

  • Pricing details

  • Booking confirmation

5. Fill Spots Automatically

If a game does not have enough players, Soccer Bolt can:

  • Post the game publicly to partner apps

  • Notify local players

  • Prevent last-minute cancellations

This removes the need to manually post in Facebook soccer groups a big pain point for most organizers.

Outcome

The final design brought clarity and speed to the entire pickup-game workflow.Organizers can schedule games in seconds, track attendance, and fill empty spots without depending on group posts or separate messaging apps. Players get easy access to nearby games and smooth communication.

The UI is clean, bold, and reliable perfect for the real-world chaos of amateur soccer.

Commonly asked questions and answers Phone:+1 (555) 000-0000 Email:hi@arunarudra.com What services do you offer? I design and build digital experiences end-to-end.My core services include UI/UX design, product design, website design, branding, and complete development support when required. Whether it’s a mobile app, web platform, or a full product from scratch, I handle everything from research to final execution. How do you approach a new project? I start with understanding the problem  not jumping to screens. Research, user flows, and structure come first. Once the foundation is solid, I move into UI design, prototyping, and handoff. If development is included, I ensure the final build matches the design exactly. What tools do you use for your design work? I primarily work in Figma for UI/UX and prototypes, and  Illustrator for branding and visual assets. Depending on the project, I also use tools like Photoshop, After Effects, or development platforms through my team. Can you handle both design and development? Yes. If a project requires it, I collaborate with my development team to deliver a complete solution design + development. This ensures the final output stays consistent with the design vision and avoids the usual designer–developer mismatch. How long does a typical project take? It depends on the complexity.A simple website takes around 2–3 weeks.A full product (app + website + dashboard) can take 6–10 weeks. Before starting, I always give a clear timeline based on scope so there are no surprises.
